About PlatRep
PlatRep exists because Law No. 7578 requires every foreign-source game platform above the threshold to have a competent Turkish counterpart. We built PlatRep to be that counterpart — institutionally credible, operationally fast, legally anchored.
Structure
PlatRep [Türkiye] Ltd. Şti. is a Turkish-incorporated platform-representative service. Operations are managed from our law and consultancy office, which carries 70 years of regulatory practice. Day-to-day notice handling, BTK liaison, and client communications run through a dedicated operational lead inside the firm. Strategic and commercial leadership sits with the founder.
Independence
PlatRep is independent of any single foreign platform. We do not co-own any client. We do not lobby on behalf of any single client against the regulator. Our duty is operational compliance, not advocacy.
Approach
We work alongside Turkish regulators, not against them. Our institutional engagement with BTK, DDO, Aile Bakanlığı, and ESB is framed around making the new framework operationally implementable for foreign platforms while protecting Turkish users.
People
PlatRep was founded by Cem Yavaş, who leads the firm's commercial strategy and client relationships. Türkiye legal operations are directed by Cenker, a Turkish attorney with more than twenty years in regulatory and commercial practice, working from our law and consultancy office. He carries day-to-day responsibility for BTK liaison, authority correspondence and notice handling, supported by the office's wider regulatory team and by senior counsel on escalation.
